Internal Operations

Log incidents, run 1:1 meetings, and manage performance improvement plans.

Internal Operations

Internal Operations covers people and delivery follow-up inside the firm: incident logs, 1:1 meetings, and performance improvement plans.

Attendance check-in is part of Time and Timesheets, not Internal Operations.

Incident Logs

Incident logs record delivery, conduct, or other workplace events, then track acknowledgments and corrective actions.

What an Incident Contains

  • Title, category, severity, and tier.
  • Incident date and description.
  • Participants.
  • Optional project and task.
  • Evidence, root-cause tags, and review notes.
  • Actions with owners and verifiers.
  • Attachments and related incident links.

  4. Save as draft, or share with the team.
  5. Participants acknowledge, comment, or refuse.

  3. The owner progresses the action.
  4. The verifier signs off.
  5. Close the incident when work is complete.

Export a PDF from the incident, or open an employee history at /incidents/employees/{userId}.

Only performance-category incidents can be linked as evidence on a performance plan.

1:1 Meetings

1:1s are ongoing manager and report relationships with a meeting cadence, agendas, notes, and action items.

What a 1:1 Contains

  • Manager and report.
  • Cadence: weekly, biweekly, monthly, or custom.
  • Meetings with agenda, actions, and notes.
  • Optional agenda template.

A talking point can be converted to an incident. An action item can be converted to a project task.

Compliance at /one-on-ones/compliance shows overdue meetings and actions across the organization, without note content.

Performance Plans

Performance improvement plans are time-boxed plans that HR reviews before the employee sees them.

What a Plan Contains

  • Jurisdiction, start date, and duration.
  • Check-in cadence.
  • Improvement areas with baseline, SMART goal, and success criteria.
