Project Templates

Build reusable delivery structures with phases, milestones, tasks, offsets, and durations.

Project Templates

Project Templates help teams create repeatable project plans. A template can include phases, milestones, tasks, timing offsets, and default structure.

  • Templates list: /project-templates
  • Template editor: /project-templates/{id}
  • Project creation can also use templates from the new project workflow.

Use a Template

  1. Create a new project.
  2. Select the template during setup.
  3. Review the generated phases, milestones, and tasks.
  4. Adjust dates, owners, and scope before starting delivery.

Good Practices

  • Keep templates generic enough to reuse.
  • Use clear task titles.
  • Keep offsets and durations realistic.
  • Review templates regularly as delivery process changes.
